考后翻开卷子，"这道又错了"几乎是英语老师在形容词与副词比较级这一块最常听到的一句话。综合全班的卷面，三处丢分点几乎年年都钉在墙上：第一，as…as 和 than 两套句型接反，连词后面该跟原形还是比较级分不清；第二，比较对象判错，特别是 the more…the more…、比较级 + and + 比较级这种结构里"谁比谁"在脑中一锅粥；第三，-er/-est 和 more/most 的拼写规则混用——多音节形容词到底是写 healthier 还是 more healthy、most 后面到底跟不跟 the，全凭语感。 所以讲这一课之前，先把核心结论拍在黑板上：比较级只做三件事——找对比较对象、判准标志词、套对拼写形式。

先说结论：先定"比较谁"，再选标志词，最后敲定拼写

形容词与副词的比较级题，看一眼就晕往往是因为三步并作一步。先把"谁比谁"圈出来，再回到句子里找 as…as、than、of the two、the…of 这类标志词，最后才决定是 -er/-est 还是 more/most。 一旦顺序反了，就容易在 healthier 还是 more healthy、most beautiful 还是 the most beautiful 上反复纠结。讲评课上把这三步写进板书，全班立刻安静一半。

• 第 1 题最经典，of the two 是"二选一"信号，必须用比较级，常见错误是看到 of 就写最短的 the shortest。
• 第 2 题"the + 比较级…the + 比较级"是主从结构，前后必须保持词性一致，学生常把后一个 the greater 写成 great。
• 第 3 题考"单辅双写再加 -er"规则，tall + er 即可，taller 不能写成 more tall。

常见问题

问题 1：as…as 和 than 到底怎么一秒区分？

看连词。as…as 永远跟原级，than 永远跟比较级。关键动作不是背规则，而是看到 than 就把后面那个词的条件反射改写成比较级。

问题 2：the more…the more… 算比较级还是固定句型？

算比较级，但它是"主从 + 对称"结构。前面 The more you read 是从句，后面 the more you know 是主句。两个 the 都不能省，more 必须保持比较级。

问题 3：healthier 和 more healthy 哪个对？

都对，但语体和考试偏好不同：healthier 偏自然、考题更常考。单音节和双音节形容词优先 -er/-est；多音节形容词再考虑 more/most。 health 就是双音节里偏短的一类，规则上两者都可。

问题 4：最高级前什么时候加 the？

只要有明确的限定范围（of the three、in our class、in the world）就加 the。没有范围用"a + 最高级"表示"非常"，比如 That is a most interesting book。
